Board retreat held on September 28th
Part of strategic planning process
On Wednesday, September 28th, the Dakota School Board conducted a retreat to review the district's progress over the past year and begin future planning. Besides school board members, three teachers participated in addition to building administrators and district level staff. Retreat activities included reviewing and documenting the work of the past year through the lens of teachers, administrators and board members. Additionally, the these three levels of the district organization identified work that should be done over the course of the next year to meet the districts core values and shared vision. Feedback from the retreat will be used as the beginning point for the 2017-2018 District Improvement Plan.
